Über mich
Herzlich willkommen.
Ich bin Nenad Beric, Fotograf mit Wurzeln in Basel und Blick weit über die Landesgrenzen reicht. Meine Kamera begleitet mich durch die ganze Schweiz und manchmal auch darüber hinaus.
Bilder entstehen für mich zuerst im Kopf, manchmal im Bruchteil einer Sekunde, manchmal über Jahre hinweg. Die Kamera ist nur das Werkzeug, mit dem ich diese inneren Bilder in die Welt hole.
Fotografie ist für mich mehr als ein Beruf, sie ist ein Teil meines Wesens. Sie ermöglicht mir, mit Menschen in Kontakt zu treten, Geschichten zu entdecken und Stimmungen in Bildern festzuhalten. Jedes Shooting ist für mich ein kreativer Prozess, bei dem Licht, Raum und Motiv bewusst zusammenspielen, um eine Idee visuell zum Leben zu erwecken.
In den letzten Jahren durfte ich für grosse Marken wie Bosch, Sixt oder Bad Boy arbeiten, ebenso wie für lokale Unternehmen, Künstlerinnen, Künstler, Musiker und Sportler. Meine Aufträge führten mich auch in die Pharma- und Gesundheitsbranche, in die Modefotografie, in die Schwerindustrie und zuletzt für mehrere Monate in die Welt der Foodfotografie. Diese Vielfalt bereichert meine Arbeit und gibt mir die Möglichkeit, Ideen auch über klassische Genregrenzen hinweg zu entwickeln.
Neben der Fotografie konzipiere ich gerne Inhalte, arbeite interdisziplinär und entwickle Texte für die Content Creation, damit Bild und Wort zu einer stimmigen visuellen Geschichte verschmelzen.
Meine Ausbildung umfasst ein Diplom in Kommunikationsdesign mit Schwerpunkt Interaction Design an der Hochschule für Gestaltung Basel sowie ein Certificate of Advanced Studies in Digital Marketing an der Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz. Meine besondere Stärke liegt im Zusammenspiel von technischer Präzision, visueller Klarheit und einem offenen, menschlichen Blickwinkel.

Welcome.
I am Nenad Beric, a photographer rooted in Basel with a vision that reaches far beyond national borders. My camera takes me all over Switzerland and sometimes even further afield.
Images are first created in my mind, sometimes in the fraction of a second, sometimes over the course of years. The camera is merely the tool with which I bring these inner images into the world.
Photography is more than just a profession for me. It is part of who I am. It allows me to connect with people, discover stories, and capture moods in images. Each shoot is a creative process in which light, space, and subject are consciously brought together to visually bring an idea to life.
In recent years, I have had the privilege of working for major brands such as Bosch, Sixt, and Bad Boy, as well as for local businesses, artists, musicians, and athletes. My assignments have also taken me into the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, fashion photography, heavy industry, and most recently, several months in the world of food photography. This variety enriches my work and enables me to develop ideas that transcend traditional genre boundaries.
Alongside photography, I enjoy conceptualising content, working across disciplines, and developing texts for content creation, ensuring that image and word merge into a coherent visual story.
My education includes a diploma in Communication Design with a focus on Interaction Design from the Basel School of Design, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Digital Marketing from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. My particular strength lies in combining technical precision, visual clarity, and an open, human perspective.
